Jake Colognesi

Jake Colognesi is a Principal in the Greenwich office focusing on partnerships with growth stage software and technology-enabled services businesses. Jake joined Sageview in 2019 from Volition Capital, a Boston-based growth equity firm where he was actively involved in the firm’s investments in Bombfell, Broker Genius, (acquired by PetSmart), GeoLearning (acquired by SumTotal), JazzHR, LoanLogics, Messagepoint, PlayerLync, Vibes Media, and Visual IQ (acquired by Nielsen).  Jake started his career as an investment banking analyst in the software group at Cowen and Company and thereafter as a growth equity investor at Fidelity Ventures.

Jake is an avid skier and supporter of New England sports teams.  When not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, two sons, and dog.

Mike McClure

Mike McClure is a Principal focusing on the technology sector in the Palo Alto office. Mike joined Sageview in 2011 as an Associate and rejoined in 2015 as a Principal after earning an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Mike serves on the board at Aceable and is a board observer at CallRail, Demandbase, Pantheon and Womply.

Prior to joining Sageview, Mike was an Associate at Trilantic Capital Partners, where he focused on growth equity and leveraged buyout transactions across a range of industries. Mike started his career as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers.
