Sageview Capital LP Announces Analyst & Associate Promotions

Sageview Capital LP, a private investment firm focused on providing growth capital and operational support to leading tech-enabled businesses, is excited to announce the promotions of Doug Saper and Juliet Zou to Senior Associate and Eric Bockhaus and Henry Vogel to Associate.

Each of these individuals has contributed significantly to the firm’s sourcing efforts, transaction execution, and portfolio engagement during their time at Sageview. They have demonstrated a track record of excellence and continued drive to develop their talents as top growth equity investors. Promotion to Senior Associate

Doug Saper – Doug joined Sageview in 2020 and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. He is actively involved in the firm’s investments in Atmosphere and Pax8, having played a significant role in helping source the former. Prior to joining Sageview, Doug was an Analyst at Moelis & Company in New York. At Moelis, Doug was a generalist and advised on transactions across various industries and products, including M&A, restructuring, and capital markets. Doug graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics.

Juliet Zou – Juliet joined Sageview Capital in 2020 and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. She is actively involved in the firm’s investments in Demandbase, Elastic Path, and Pantheon and has led thematic sourcing efforts including in property tech. Prior to joining Sageview, Juliet was an investment research associate at Dodge & Cox in San Francisco. At Dodge & Cox, Juliet helped assess public equity investments in the oil and gas and business services spaces. Juliet attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Economics.

Promotion to Associate

Eric Bockhaus – Eric joined Sageview in 2020 and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office. He is actively involved in the firm’s investments in Aceable, CallRail, and Clerk, having played a significant role in helping source Clerk. Prior to joining Sageview, Eric was an Equity Research Intern at Colorado Financial Management in Boulder, Colorado, and a Research Analyst at Motswedi Securities in Gaborone, Botswana. Eric attended the University of Colorado – Boulder, where he received a B.S. in Quantitative finance and graduated summa cum laude.

Henry Vogel – Henry joined Sageview in 2020 and is based in the firm’s Greenwich office. Henry has been extremely active on the souring front, having identified numerous high-priority prospective opportunities for the firm. Prior to joining Sageview, Henry was an intern for the Consumer/Retail Investment Banking group at Nomura in New York. Henry attended Dartmouth College, where he majored in Quantitative Social Science.
