Sageview Capital LP Expands Expertise in Financial Services with the Appointment of Sasank Chary as Senior Advisor

Greenwich, CT – Sageview Capital LP, a leading growth equity firm focused on backing disruptive software and tech-enabled businesses, announced today the appointment of Sasank Chary as a Senior Advisor to the firm. In his role, Mr. Chary will focus primarily on sourcing and executing deals in the financial technology sector. Additionally, he will provide strategic advice and operational expertise to future and current companies within the Sageview Capital portfolio. Mr. Chary will be based in the firm’s Greenwich office.

Mr. Chary brings 20 years of investment experience focusing primarily on the financial services sector, including over a decade at Sageview Capital as a founding team member (and ultimately a Partner). Before rejoining Sageview Capital as a Senior Advisor, Mr. Chary spent several years as a senior member of the private equity teams at KKR and Reverence Capital Partners, where he focused on investing in financial technology, payments, business services, and distribution & brokerage businesses. Mr. Chary holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and International Relations from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and College of Arts and Sciences, respectively.
