Greenwich, CT and Palo Alto, CA – Sageview Capital LP, a leading growth equity firm focused on backing disruptive software and tech-enabled businesses, is excited to announce the promotions of Eric Bockhaus, Henry Vogel, and Michael Marcus to Senior Associate and Siddhi Chandak to Associate.
These four individuals have been influential in driving the firm’s success. They consistently demonstrate strong leadership, drive innovative solutions, and provide reliable and effective support to the firm. They have each contributed significantly to the firm’s current achievements and have created a strong foundation for future growth. Promotion to Senior Associate
Eric Bockhaus – Eric Bockhaus joined Sageview in 2020 and is based out of the Palo Alto, CA office. Eric currently focuses on technology investments in the retail, commerce and prop tech sectors and supports Sageview Capital’s investments in CallRail and GroceryTV. Prior to joining Sageview, Eric was an Equity Research Intern at Colorado Financial Management in Boulder, Colorado and a Research Analyst at Motswedi Securities in Gaborone, Botswana. Eric graduated from the University of Colorado – Boulder where he received a B.S. in Quantitative finance, summa cum laude.
Henry Vogel – Henry Vogel joined Sageview in 2020 and is based out of the Greenwich, CT office. Henry currently focuses on technology investments supporting the office of the CFO, along with travel and hospitality and supports Sageview Capital’s investments in Anitian, Elemental Machines, and LoanStar Technologies. Prior to joining Sageview, Henry was an intern for the Consumer/Retail Investment Banking group at Nomura in New York. Henry graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Quantitative Social Science.
Michael Marcus – Michael Marcus joined Sageview in 2022 and is based out of the Greenwich, CT office. Michael currently focuses on technology investments in the retail, commerce and prop tech sectors and supports Sageview Capital’s investments in Impact Analytics, Pax8, and User Interviews. Before joining Sageview, Michael was an Investment Banking Analyst at BofA Securities. At BofA, Michael focused on M&A and various equity and debt-related transactions in the Consumer and Retail sector. Michael graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics (Wharton School).
Promotion to Associate
Siddhi Chandak – Siddhi joined Sageview in 2022 as an Analyst in the Palo Alto office. Siddhi is currently focusing on technology investments supporting the office of the CFO, along with travel and hospitality and currently supports Sageview Capital’s investments in Aceable and Elastic Path. Siddhi attended the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Data Science. While at Berkeley, Siddhi cofounded GrayKea, a startup that relieves financial stress experienced by college students who are homeless, housing, and food insecure through sustainable alum giving. Before joining Sageview, Siddhi was a growth equity intern at PeakSpan Capital and a venture capital intern at Accion Global Investments.
