Ashwin Prakash

Ashwin Prakash joined Sageview Capital in 2018 and serves as the firm’s Controller. In his role, Ashwin is responsible for managing the firm’s financial operations, including its accounting and tax functions, and for limited partner fund reporting. In addition, Ashwin assists with the firm’s compliance functions, marketing functions, and service provider oversight.

Before joining Sageview, Ashwin worked as a Senior Audit Associate at RSM US LLP in their financial services group. During his time at RSM, he was responsible for managing all stages of audit engagements from planning, fieldwork, and issuance of audited financial statements for his clients which were primarily middle-market private equity firms.

Ashwin attended and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014, receiving a B.S. in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut.
