Trent Nelson
Trent Nelson joined Sageview in 2024 and is a Vice President of Growth in the Greenwich office. He is responsible for partnering with portfolio companies to drive growth and value creation initiatives, in addition to supporting the evaluation of the firm’s potential investments.
Before joining Sageview, Trent was a Senior Director of Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations at ZoomInfo (NASDAQ: ZI), a leading provider of modern go-to-market software. At ZoomInfo, he partnered with executive leadership and led a number of sales & marketing initiatives, helping the company scale post-IPO from less than $500M to over $1.2B in revenue.
Trent was previously a private equity investor at Irving Place Capital and started his career as an investment banking analyst at Evercore in the M&A group.
Trent graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with a Bachelors in Economics. He lives outside of Boston with his wife, Elaine, and dog, Winnie.
